This nice black 1964 Pontiac GTO showed up for a Schwartz makeover. It was already outfitted with bolt-on suspension parts such as tubular control arms, bigger sway bars, and powered by a beefy big block Chevy; the customer wanted to take it to the next level.
Frame & Suspension
- Schwartz Performance G-Machine bolt-in full-length frame
- QA1 single-adjustable coilovers
- Baer Extreme-Plus 14" cross-drilled rotors with 6S 6-piston calipers front and rear
Engine
- Schwartz-built 675hp LS7
- Billet serpentine drive system with power steering and A/C
- Cooled by an aluminum BeCool radiator with dual fans
- Custom air intake tube with cone air filter
Drivetrain:
- Tremec T56 Magnum
- Custom steel driveshaft
- Winters 9" aluminum center housing w/full-floating hubs & axles
- Moser 9" aluminum center section with Detroit TrueTrac differential, 1350 yoke
Exhaust:
- Schwartz 1 7/8" primary stainless steel headers
- Schwartz custom stainless oval/round exhaust system w/V-band flanges & polished tips
- Entire exhaust ceramic coated in JetHot "extreme silver"
Wheels & Tires:
- Forgeline SO3P full-chrome wheels with blind-screw option
- 18x12.5 rear, wrapped with 335/30/18 BFG KDW's
- 18x9 front, wrapped with 275/35/18 BFG KDW's
Other Features:
- Custom engine-turned gauge panel with Auto Meter gauges
- Corvette C3 manual brake master cylinder
- Rick's Tanks custom stainless steel fuel tank with internal EFI pump, regulated with an Aeromotive fuel regulator
- HID headlight conversion
