Ryan Buck driving his Schwartz-Equipped 1968 Camaro competed in the Street Machine Challenge (SMC) during the Street Machine Nationals in St. Paul MN on July 20-22nd.

The Street Machine Challenge has been going on for many years now, and brings some of the quickest vehicles around to compete in an autocross, speed-stop, and dyno challenge.

The autocross course this year was bigger than last which made horsepower & forward grip important. Ryan ended up 2nd fastest on the autocross course!
In the speed-stop, he ended up 5th, not bad for a manual transmission car. Usually the automatic cars take the cake here.
Then in the dyno challenge, his hefty 427 small block wound out to an impressive 504 rwhp, which was good enough for another 2nd place.
When the points were added, he was in a tie, but his horsepower broke the tie and ended him 2nd place overall in his class.

We congratulate Ryan and his ability to wheel his revamped high school car around like a mad man!
